Horses as Living Social Systems
The learning objectives of this 2-day training are to experience horses as living social systems that contribute to extraordinary conditions of safety and support clients’ return to agency, and learn how to recognise, respond to, and create these conditions.
While horses participate in all BCM learnning pathways, this training focuses specifically on the horses, their role, how to create conditions for them, how to support them.
This training is intended for people who intend to include horses in their practice, recognise horses as sentient beings living within complex social systems, and who are committed to supporting their physical, emotional and social well-being.
Participants should have access to more than one horse who live together, and their horses should not be required to perform in other equestrian disciplines.
This training is a 2-day module.
Participants are required to attend both days.
